Kevin Floyd Project

Kevin Floyd spent 12 years being a pro musician in the UK, was signed to Caned and Able Records, under the Sony Records umbrella and toured Europe and America with his band called DORP.

Kevin Floyd has shared the stage with artists like AHA, The Prodigy and too many more to mention, as well as most of South Africa's biggest artists including Springbok Nude Girls, Just Jinger, Parlotones, Gold Fish, Dan Patlansky, and many more.



Kevin Floyd has recorded in the world’s best studios, including U2's long-time producer Flood's private studio using U2's own equipment. Kevin Floyd also has worked with various top producers including Flood.

Kevin Floyd has music featured in the major motion picture Wild Target, starring Emma Blunt and has also had music featured in various adverts around the globe.

Kevin has been back in South Africa for seven years now and has had huge success with The Kevin Floyd Project. This band has featured in various festivals such as The Cape Town Blues Summit, Oppikoppi, Breede River Festival and has recently opened for Die Heuwels Fantasties and played the Wilderness Festival.

Since moving to George in 2016, Kevin Floyd has been playing with brilliant percussionist Eugene Van Pletzen who had huge success with his band Wild Lettuce.
